Amazing Holiday Family Experience by Cruiser54040691

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This is a great cruise for families. The captain is so friendly and accessible. We saw him throughout the ship, he had a Captain's talk one day where we could ask him questions, he announced birthdays daily. The staff are super friendly and did a great job all week. It was a very relaxing trip.

All of the staff, without exception, from the moment we stepped onboard, treated like royalty, always courteous and accommodating to any request we had! Professional, personal, and phenomenal customer service has always been the norm for Royal Caribbean. by phyllisanders

All of the staff, without exception, from the moment we stepped onboard, treated like royalty, always courteous and accommodating to any request we had! Professional, personal, and phenomenal customer service has always been the norm for Royal Caribbean. It is the cruiseline I choose everytime I cruise now. Even when staff are short, customer service never shows it . Teamwork is shown everyday from the first cruise staff up through the managers and directors.

Very relaxing Caribbean Cruse by lawrencekiley

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Our experience was okay. Staff and service was good and Cozumel was beautiful. There are many things the itineraries left to be desired though. The Radiance of the Seas was very nice but her age is showing even after her remodel in 2016. The itinerary for the ruins in Progreso, Mexico had to much included. Should delete the swim and spent more time on the ruins. They should not allowed tables within the buffet area during rush lunch to be used for people to play cards. Kids pool should not allow adults to sit in the pool taking up what little area the kids have to swim and play.

Not so good by barneybut

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Service could be improved. Food OK, but not special. Dud entertainment. Hard sell on about everything. Someone attempted to rip off catalytic converter while my van was parked in the Cruise parking lot.

A lovely ship and crew- very relaxing by ewestgard

Lovely ship. Friendly crew. We found the Muzak too loud and jarring- it was cranked by the pool 7x24.

Good cruise by CarolTalbert

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Our cheap cruises agent Amanda was excellent. The price was half if most cruises. Buffet was good, main dining average, room excellent, service excellent, tours be careful to pick the right ones.

Cruise was fine but the travel agent dropped the ball which caused us challenges by DaNews

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Cruise was average. We've definitely had better experiences, but don't regret going. This is a slower-paced ship that still seems to have the previous Alaska Cruise mindset.

Nice but some disappointments by tiffanybrett

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Our experience was okay. The weather was great and the size of the Junior Suite was perfect for the 3 of us. Staff and service was good and Cozumel was beautiful. There are many things this ship left to be desired though. The Radiance of the Seas was our first experience on Royal Caribbean and if we weren't so excited about the Icon of the Seas, it would likely be our last.

Cruised with RC, Disney and Carnival. This was worst. Normally I love RC so this made me sad.

Very relaxing cruise by MoetheCruiser

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: Hawaii

The cruise was an eleven day transitional cruise from Hawaii onto Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This was the longest cruise I have ever taken. I found it relaxing and enjoyable. At first, I didn’t think that I wanted to take a cruise that was that long. Once I got on that ship I forgot all my cares and troubles, just kept busy relaxing and having fun.

great itinerary, had some disappointments with ship by Cruiser84345848

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: Hawaii

The itinerary was great but would have preferred to spend more time on the Islands and finish in hawaii and not spend 6 days cruising to Canada. Cruise had pros and cons the pros being the itinerary and island visits , the service at dining and other areas in the ship. The cons being the age of the ship which showed wear and tear, the only outdoor pool being small, the food in main dining and room service was very mediocre .

Wonderful trip, loved the Aft Balcony. by letscruise6736

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: Hawaii

This is a great Interary, on sea days you can do as much or as little as you desire. I really enjoyed the Hawaiian and Music Lectures each day. The staff seem very happy and have a great desire to please. Overall this trip was a wonderful experience.

Good cruise, good service, VOOM useless. by REOJim

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: Alaska - Inside Passage

This was the third Alaska cruise we've taken. It was to be a prelude to our connection through to Hawai'i. The day before the cruise, RCCL notified us our Hawai'i leg was cancelled. Apparently, the Jones act prohibits foreign flagged vessels from departing from, and arriving to, a US port. It didn't matter it was 2 cruises with a stop in Vancouver... They wouldn't let us go. So... Alaska was all we had. I would do it again. The more we visit, the more we find we want to see the next time.

Wonderful Alaskan Cruise by det783

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: Alaska - Inside Passage

This was our third Alaskan Cruise and the first on Royal Caribbean. The trip was very reasonably priced and went very smoothly. If you are looking for a reasonably priced Alaskan Cruise, then this is the cruise for you. The whole trip was very relaxing.
