Great Alaskan Experience Cruise

Sail Date: June 03, 2016

Reviewed: 5 months ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

By doing 7 days going , able to see and experience many Alaskan Ports of Call and many sights and tours.  The weather was great with sunshine at ports.  Saw numerous wild life and learned a great deal from the tours.  Also had plenty of time to shop for jewelry and watches which we did and now have them as reminders of this great trip.  Remember - you may only do this once, so don't shot change the trip by not taking tours and buys souvenirs.

Cabin / Stateroom
Great having a balcony to be able to sit out and watch as we cruised in private.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Fast and easy.
Ship Quality
Ship is clean and being maintained.
Destinations and Excursions
Many to choose from and have enough time in ports to do these and they are great.
Onboard Activities
Cruise director and staff will keep you having laughs and fun at their many activities.
Children's Programs Not Used ?
Entertainment
Service and Staff
The main dining room crew of Regan and Mansard and room attendant Nino took excellent care of ys.
Food and Dining
Will gain weight from all the great food.
Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia
Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska
Ketchikan, Alaska
Totem poles and shopping - experience the locals.
Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska
Port to watch whales or go fishing..
Juneau, Alaska
Hike back to waterfall and Mendenhall Glacier - a must.
Skagway, Alaska
Ride the train - a must , also last place to shop and experience the locals.
Cruise Hubbard Glacier
Saw it calving off and the captain got the boat nice and close - great job.
Seward (Anchorage), Alaska
Connected with bus to head up towards Denali and fight seeing trip out of Talkeetna - must do.

Tip

Get involved in the onboard activities and have fun and go to the shows, experience the ship while cruising - but experience the ports while in port.
