Review summary

This cruise was excellent even for folks that are not great outdoors people. The ship is great and the crew were fantastic. I would definitely recommend it. My only suggestion is to plan to arrive a day early and leave the day after you dock in Seward to avoid the stress of almost missing the boat or the return flights.

The only problem with a Grand Suite is that once you have experienced it, you are not likely to go back to anything else.

I think that it is good advice to arrive a day early if you have to travel far to get to the ship on embarkation day.  We did that on our cruise that left from Seattle.  We took a flight from Orlando two days early and used the time to go sightseeing. It was time well spent in Seattle.  And the weather was perfect.
