Review summary

This was a long planned retirement cruise and we had a really great time!  Enjoyed all of the ports and while it was cool as we chose to go in May, the upside was that most of the ports were not as crowded :)  Loved our balcony room, the food, and all the wonderful scenery...

Will always cruise with a balcony - loved sleeping with sliding door open no matter how cool it was!

I know the train is a big draw, but we took a small tour bus (15 people) and it was fabulous as they stopped several times along the way for pictures AND it follows the same course as the train...

We were so lucky to have a fabulous day to view this Bay... I am sure it wold not have been so impressive of the weather had not cooperated.

Sleepy fishing town, but lots to do - Take an 'I-did-a-ride Tour' and walk out to Exit Glacier!

We just got back from this same ship and itinerary (2 weeks after you, I think) and also had a great time! Happy retirement!

Great review. Which tour operator did you use for the Skagway bus tour?
