A truly spectacular experience on the QM by RebeccaK2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Queen Mary 2 / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

This was a truly amazing cruising experience. We had a fabulous suite with lots of room. There was ample closet space and the service of the butler was unbelievable. The Queens Grill restaurant was fantastic -- both the food and the service was superb. There were SO many different things to do on board. The nightclub was great - both the DJ and the great band. Although the planetarium was not in operation (technical difficulties) for the first few days, when we did get in to see a show, it was great. The shows aboard were great. We really enjoyed the Commodore Club.

Magnificent Ship by EdnaC2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Queen Mary 2 / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our first cruise and we definitely started at the top. It's such a beautiful Oceanliner to be put in a category all alone. We were pleasantly surprised by being upgraded to a Junior Suite, which really spoiled us before boarding. I look forward to my next QM2 experience. I hope to be invited to dine in the Princess Grill again and hopefully share a table with nice people as we did on our Dec. 9-16, 2006 cruise.

Not worth paying double by GinnyN

Beautifully decorated ship. Everthing else was just OK, not luxury. Long lines and waits over and over.

Fabulous Ship! by SusanB36

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Queen Mary 2 / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The Queen Mary 2 was, by far, the nicest, most luxurious, cruise we have been on. The stateroom and the bathroom was extremely roomy for a cruise ship. The crew and ship did a good job in "disease prevention", with hand sanitizers everywhere. All the bars were comfortable and relaxing. Spa Club was "fabulous"! Definitely worth the extra fee to use this facility. Talk about relaxing! Only downside was our room steward. Always had to ask for ice (never any in the ice bucket when we got back to the room) and never received a final survey at our room.

Fairly happy but not thrilled by Garlin2507

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Queen Mary 2

Having been on many cruises before we other lines, we didn’t know what to expect on this liner but we were pleasantly surprised but a little disappointed with the choice of menu and had to keep asking for more in the buffet, very small portions offered at first

Transatlantic Eastbound by ericsailaway

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Queen Mary 2

This is our Transatlantic voyage. Loved Winchester England and the Cathedral. Going eastbound was smooth sailing. In fact I needed to look out to make sure the water was moving past the ship. It was almost as if we were in port. Just amazing!

We only had 3 nights on board. Enough for us to yearn for more! A beautiful ship with a well deserved reputation for class and luxury. ‘We’ll be back’

Not Good by fletch60

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Queen Mary 2

Disappointing, was supposed to be celebrating my 60th. This ship was on a world cruise if we had gone to the cancelled ports, Australia wouldn't have let the ship into there waters, others cruise ships were stopping

Great holiday by saucysue

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Queen Mary 2 / Destination: Caribbean

Embarked Queen Mary 2, with ease, on board quickly, suitcases already in the cabin. Cabin quite spacious, and although rather tired looking, clean. Welcomed aboard with a bottle of wine in the cabin, which was a nice touch. The ship is very stable despite Atlantic seas, really shows she is a liner, not a cruise ship. Enjoyable cruise, although some improvements could be made to the entertainment, and the MDR. I had been sold the 26 day trip, as one cruise, but in many ways it was run as 3 cruises, so the shows were repeated, which I felt was unfair. All in all, an enjoyable experience, I look forward to repeating.

True "North Atlantic Run" by Voorheesians

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Queen Mary 2 / Destination: Caribbean

Classic transatlantic voyage, with Force 12 winds and 35-foot seas handled by QM2 with easy aplomb. Even my 80's something in-laws had a great time without seasickness. She is a special ship - a true ocean liner. Even though I only wore a dark suit to the "gala nights", I didn't feel out of place, and overall there was an aura of tremendous luxury and elegance. Truly reminiscent of great times gone by, experienced today.

This was a perfect getaway and introduction to Cunard. It left us wanting more. We would still like to experience a transatlantic sailing on QM2.

Great service by georgemjohnson

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Queen Mary 2 / Destination: Transatlantic

Without doubt, the quality and service were the best we have received on board any ship. The only negative was on a 7 night cruise, 3 formal nights and 4 nights where a jacket had to be worn, my choice would be 3 formal and 4 nights with a shirt and tie.
