Fabulous Ship!

Sail Date: November 25, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

The Queen Mary 2 was, by far, the nicest, most luxurious, cruise we have been on. The stateroom and the bathroom was extremely roomy for a cruise ship. The crew and ship did a good job in "disease prevention", with hand sanitizers everywhere. All the bars were comfortable and relaxing. Spa Club was "fabulous"! Definitely worth the extra fee to use this facility. Talk about relaxing!
Only downside was our room steward. Always had to ask for ice (never any in the ice bucket when we got back to the room) and never received a final survey at our room.

Pros: Staterooms were spacious - food was delicious

Cons: Older crowd

Rent a car or scooter and travel all the way around the shoreline. Great way to really experience the city. Gets you away from the shopping area.
