Beautiful time of year to experience Alaska. Clean, safe ports!

Embarkation

Quick. Easy (if you come prepared)

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was great and better than 2022 sailing. Buffet is crowded and full of cruisers who act like they the only ones on the ship. The staff are hands down the best employees I have encountered in the service industry. They are trained to not use the phrase, "I don't know". Crew seem to always drop what they are doing to meet your request as best they can.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty of activities to fit all ages! Our younger cruisers enjoyed the pools, flowrider, rock wall, Ifly, laser tag, bumper cars and rollerskating. Bingo, bars and casino for us older ones with plenty of live music and shows to cap the night.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Adventure Ocean is one of our kid's highlights of the cruise. They make new friends and report the crew there to be their favorite crew members on the ship. Our 9 year old loves it more after each cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The hardest working crew we've seen. Quantum of the Seas = A+

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Plenty of ship to explore on a 7-night cruise. Very clean ship. Hard-working crew.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Bed was nice and firm. Our little one's cot was very comfy too. Big/tall showers, which is nice for the taller cruiser. Inside cabin on an Alaska Cruise with zero complaints.

Ship tip

Utilize the Main Dining Room for, at least, one meal per day. The buffet was crowded nearly every time and seating is a struggle (especially with a big party). Get to shows early if you'd like a drink delivered to you. If you show up 15 minutes or less before a show, I'd recommend bringing your own drink.

Ports of call

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Juneau is beautiful and an easy walk to just explore all the shops. Everything is close to the pier. One of us enjoyed some whiskey at the Red Dog Saloon.

Sitka, Alaska

4 out of 5
Sitka is another cool port to visit. We went to buy our own excursion (half the cost) but our exhibit was sold out so we went back to ship and enjoyed another port day on the ship, without a crowd.

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Beautiful port. Easily walked most of the town within 2 hours and were back on the (empty) ship enjoying the pool and hot tub to ourselves. The salmon were running up the river which made the walk on Creek Street very favorable...and crowded. I got a sunburn in Alaska here and loved it.

Seattle, Washington

4 out of 5
Seattle is gross. Lifelong Washington resident and I stopped enjoying the streets of Seattle about 5 years ago. The streets are littered with decriminalized drug use, homelessness and human waste . Get on the ship, stat!

Victoria, British Columbia

4 out of 5
With only 4-5 hours at port, we decided to stay on the ship. We do NOT regret the decision

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

5 out of 5
Tough to question God's wondrous creation here!

Disembarkation

Quick and easy. Remember your papers.
