Overall it was a great cruise. The weather was great except for the one rainy day in Juneau. The ship did seem crowded.

Very easy. We arrived at our appointment time but they really weren’t following any appointment times. We just got in line and moved through very quickly.

The main dining room food was good. Service was great. The food in the Windjammer was not the best. There was no variety day to day and it was room temperature most of the time. We ate in the dining room whenever possible. No specialty restaurants. We tried to book one for lunch but they were sold out as soon as they even showed up on the cruise planner. Sorentos was good.
Onboard Activities

We felt that there was not enough variety. The North Star was sold out for every time we tried to book. Long lines for the sports complex. Unless you want to do trivia daily or want to sit in a bar listening to music, there was not much else to do. We have cruised another line and they had a morning show each day, crafts, game shows, and always seemed to have more activities than time. This seemed like more time than activities.

Our dining room servers Made and Jaka were great. They were very attentive and greeted us like we were family. Our room was kept clean but we only saw our room steward and interacted with him when we asked for a blanket.
Ship Quality

The ship could have been cleaner and needed some maintenance. We saw stained carpets in the hallways. We didn’t see anyone cleaning except for the room stewards as we passed rooms. On our last cruise there was always someone cleaning and sanitizing. Didn’t see that this time.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was good overall. Having the bed by the bathroom made it a little awkward getting around to the other side if we both wanted to pass. The cabin was clean for the most part except for the skittles we found under the bed when we dropped something and had to get it. The bed was not very comfortable.
Ship tip
Book excursions early and expect cancellations! Watch the prices because they jump quickly. Cancel and rebook IF the price goes down but only if there are plenty of spots available.
We stayed the night before close to SeaTac so didn’t do much that day. We did the Grand Seattle Tour with airport transfer afterwards. The tour was average. Our bus driver was funny but did say he was not a tour guide. We made a stop at the Sky View tower and Pike Place. There was only one elevator at the Sky View so it made the visit rushed and people were late getting back. We had only an hour at Pike Place, and we could have easily spent a couple more hours there. There was a scheduled stop for Starbucks, but because of the lateness in the first stop there was only 30 mins so everyone opted to not even get off the bus.
Pretty port but not nearly enough time here. Our excursion was cancelled just a few days before our cruise so we chose the history and walking tour last minute. We didn’t stay in town because almost nothing was open.
We did a self guided Jeep tour here and enjoyed the beautiful scenery despite the rain. It was the only rainy day of our cruise. We drove to Mendenhall Glacier and couldn’t see it very well because of the rain. Other areas were a nice drive!
We did a tour after the cruise and it seemed like there was not enough direction to keep people moving. We did move through security quickly and had to collect our luggage to take to the bus for our tour.
