Review summary

We enjoyed our first cruise and The Royal Caribbean staff and ship. We will definitely sail again.

Embarkation

I have a cane and I appreciate the staff’s willingness to point me in the direction for easy access and handicapped cruisers. It made a long walk less arduous for me.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the menu in the main dinning rooms with our Waite staff Iketut and Kelvin at table #324 having our favorite drinks waiting on the table for us when we arrived. They were very polite and enjoyable during our stay. They made the dinning experience even better.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I would have liked to see more presentations of the culture and lifestyle or areas we were visiting. We did enjoy the Salvador Dale art presentation with artwork and history. We tried the casino a couple nights but did not find much activities for us.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the comedian show but we did not like the show in 270 theatre with theme of Goddess of the sea with lightening or lovers in Spanish dance etc. it seems with such technology a much better quality show could have been produced and one that was not so cheesy.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff including our Cabin Steward Agus was wonderful. Even the maintenance staff we came across was friendly and visited with us. We were and are amazed at the number of years most of the staff have worked for this company. We met people that have worked 12,14,17 years with Royal Caribbean. I don’t mind spending my money with a company that will take care of the staff and make it a place they also wish to return to work. It shines through in their customer service and made our trip even better. We may only sale Royal Caribbean.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I was amazed at how item we saw staff cleaning everywhere in the shop. I appreciate the hallways and other areas being cleaned by fogging disinfectant.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the cabin and thought it would be smaller, but it was the perfect size for our need. We very much appreciated Agus the cabin Steward for his attention to detail and cleanliness. He even brought mattress pads to try and soften the mattress for us when we mentioned it was too firm. I wish you could have memory foam mattresses like many hotels are moving to.
