Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining portions were kid sized, Windjammer was packed making it very difficult to find a table, lunch was mediocre, drinks overpriced at 13.00 each

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The places without kids were great! Need to enforce the adults only in Solarium. Game shows needs to be adults only, finish that lyric has 2 15 year olds and they were not old enough to know any of the songs to play, we walked out

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Goddess was great! Sequins and feathers was great Comedian was good but the adult only show sucked due to the heckling in the front row and no security Andy Elton was obnoxious, immature and unprofessional. Eating during bingo, laying on the stage etc, trying way to hard

Children's Programs

Kids stayed home

Service and Staff

4 out of 5

Ports of call

Sitka, Alaska

3 out of 5
Too many ships in port making this small town very busy, very few excursions were available had to book outside of the cruise line. Raptor center was ok, bears were ok, totem pole park was cool and close, should have saved money and just walked there from the ship

Skagway, Alaska

4 out of 5
Too many ships 4 every possible excursions was sold out We did coach tour of Yukon, Didn’t see much a few waterfalls and the drive up to the summit, driver drove way too fast coming down, another excursion we had to book elsewhere due to being sold out

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

1 out of 5
Didn’t get to do this and RCCL did not explain why? Was told a boy had been pushed or fallen off onto another deck and due to a lengthy investigation we didn’t have time to cruise it which is pretty much the reason we book this cruise, no refund or discount was offered. Very disappointed we didn’t get to see this, will try again on another cruise line

Juneau, Alaska

3 out of 5
Again another busy port 4 ships at the same time. Lots and lots and lots of jewelry shops way too many

Victoria, British Columbia

3 out of 5
Long walk to see the city, have to skirt around, lots of traffic

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Very busy and slow, had a hard time finding our luggage

you can have as many orders in the main dinning room as you want unless it's an upcharge item.

Must be a first timer with no backup information from whichever phone person booked them. And, obviously not a ShipMate, we have been talking here about the smaller (and, personally, more reasonable size even with the amount I stuff down) portions for months.

Thanks for the review. It definitely sounds like cruising is not for you, since you didn’t enjoy most things. I’m not sure why you felt there should be compensation for missing the Dawes / Endicott glacier. These glaciers and the Sawyer glaciers in Tracy arm Ford are missed often due to ice. The cruise lines have to put safety first. If you want a guaranteed to see glaciers, try Mendenhall at Juneau or an itinerary with glacier bay, which is really missed.
