We are trying to be fair minded . We have been on Holland America to Alaska and the service, food and ship design was awesome . We have been on Norwegian and it was older ship but really well designed. I just think Quantum was lacking with food and service and cleanliness..

We did enjoy the main dining room . We had traditional dining in the American Icon grill. We did not try the specialty restaurants. The buffet never had a good selection and you never could find a table.

The comedian show Steve Mcgrew was fantastic . Sequins and feathers wasn't that good. Kinetics band was great and We absolutely loved The Las Vegas Tenors . The entertainment was best part of ship .

Room steward was amazing . The actual ship personnel was never helpful . Waiters in main dining room were really good. Most of the waiters in the bar would walk by you and never offer to take order. We would go and stand at bar and they would avoid us . Other ships they actually come up to you and take orders and offer to help .

Ship was really nothing fantastic. We have been on other ships that we wanted to take pictures of everything . This ship was not clean . We never seen anyone cleaning. A lot of people caught norovirus which I know is common but then I am sure a lot of people caught covid . We both tested positive after getting off ship .

We had a nice junior suite cabin and was always kept clean . Nice size
Ship tip
Be extra careful. Pack Lysol wipes and wear masks in elevators and when you know you will be in close contact with people .
