Bring an over door mesh shoe holder to store your shampoo, lotions etc as there is not a lot of counter space. If you can take part in the Cruisenext program it is worthwhile to plan the next one, as the on-board credits pay for 1/2 of the deposit you put down. With the other on board credits that we had accumulated, our next cruise deposits cost us nothing.

Eat only in the buffet or specialty dining. The regular dining was very disappointing. Cafeteria food. Tasteless.

If you enjoy self guided tours grab you a rental car at some of the ports and explore. Best excursions were had this way!

Be very wary about the ‘free’ drink package. We paid a service fee and then tax on every drink while in port. Not sure it’s worth it depending on how much you drink.

Follow the fish! LOL! The fish pattern on the carpet in the hallways by the staterooms run towards the front of the ship (except the red fish) making it easier to figure out which way you are going.

Book room midship but away from elevators and stairs. 8th floor is generally good location. Try to find a room port side that isn’t right over life boats.
