Enjoy the places visited & the itinerary, as well as the drinks package. The rest may leave you disappointed should you have cruised before.

Don't go expecting this to be on the same tier as Celebrity or Princess. If you do, you're going to be disappointed. Book your shore excursions on your own. Book the specialty restaurants, they're really worth it. Don't expect this the food quality to be exceptional in the buffet or main dinning room. It's one of the biggest complaint you'll find on the internet. The complaints go back several years. So, I wouldn't expect NCL to make any improvements in the near future. Would we sail NCL again. Probably not......

Don't get on board until 3pm the first day- no point since many rooms weren't ready before that and it took a long time to get checked in when we arrived at 2pm.

I highly recommend this ship because of its itinerary. If you are looking at spending time relaxing about on the ship for a special occasion and not doing much activity in port then probably not for you. This is a very expensive cruise and we only did it as we wanted to see the islands. Get a port hole cabin if you can afford it but really inside cabin is fine and you can spend what you save on activities. With any cruise book your tours independently and you'll save $.

This cruise around the Hawaiian Islands attracts the older crowd... If you're looking for a party boat, this is not it. So, wake up early, eat early and go to bed early. Everything shuts down early anyways...

Get the wine package if you enjoy wine in the evening and with your meals. Check out the daily drink special everyday on your daily event pages. Bring wide mouth water coolers to fill. Bottled water is very expensive to buy.

Make your reservations for dinning and shore excursions as early as possible. Don't over book excursions! Enjoy some relaxation time!

Don't get in in cabin 4588,noise was unbearable when ship was moving was loud and consistent like a jack hammer,could not believe midship would be so unbearable
