Review summary

Overall, it's an easy was to see the islands. However, don't expect to be cruising in luxury even though you'll pay a higher premium. Food is below average; except, the specialty restaurants. Spa is way over priced. Shore Excursion are OK, but I'd book them on my own. Embarkation/Disembarkation was easy!

The ship was what we expected. The cabins were small even though we were in a large room. The food in the buffet was alright. The specialty restaurants were very good. Our favorite was the Jefferson Bistro. Our least favorite was Teppanaki (Hibachi). The Spa was way over priced! Not worth the money. In Fact, we had ship board credit to use. So, we showed up on the last day to schedule a message and facial. We figured there would be no openings. Just the opposite. They where wide open. The shows weren't bad. The staff, for the most part, was friendly. Bottom line, would we do it again. Probably. In our case we have an amazing travel agents who knows our likes and dislikes. So, we were well prepared. It is definitely overpriced for the market. However, it is all about supply and demand. If you want to see all the islands, then NCL is the only option.

Ship tip

Don't go expecting this to be on the same tier as Celebrity or Princess. If you do, you're going to be disappointed. Book your shore excursions on your own. Book the specialty restaurants, they're really worth it. Don't expect this the food quality to be exceptional in the buffet or main dinning room. It's one of the biggest complaint you'll find on the internet. The complaints go back several years. So, I wouldn't expect NCL to make any improvements in the near future. Would we sail NCL again. Probably not......
