Review summary
We wanted to explore this beautiful part of the world, especially Svaldbard & the fjords. This was a perfect ship to do in in. We have cruises on the bigger ships for years, and really enjoyed returning to the more intimate comfort and joys of a smaller ship. We hope to return to the Pacific Princess again on a new adventure.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We were quite impressed with the main dining room. This was our 1st time on this smaller ship, and loved the more intimate atmosphere, attentive service and great food options. The buffet was smaller of course on this ship, but the quality and variety of food was fine. Seating was sometimes a bit of a challenge, mainly because the outdoor seating was not that desirable due to the cold conditions of the Northern regions. When it did warm up as we headed south, it improved and we enjoyed dining there as we looked at the spectacular scenery.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
On a smaller ship, there are more limited facilities, but we found we really enjoyed the jogging track located above the pool deck. We burnt off a few pounds while taking in the exciting views port & starboard. I did not check out the gym.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Mainly my wife enjoyed the top quality singers and dancers in the lounge. More intimate and good than grand.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone, and I mean everyone, could not have been nicer or more helpful. This is typical for Princess, and on a smaller ship, you tend to get to know the crew better. The get to know you quite well as well. Makes us want to return ASAP.

She i fresh out of dry dock, so everything looks like new. The cabins, we had a mini suite on deck 8, was beautiful, and wow! The balcony! Very wide, private, quiet, clean. The wider cabin makes for a dramatic view out the big windows.

Very impressed! Clean, updated recently, comfortable new beds, wide, roomy, beautiful mahogany furniture, off white headboards, off white walls. Clean, very comfortable bathroom, and plenty of storage. We loved it.
Ship tip
Enjoy the personal service, lack of crowds, lack of waiting time in lines for shows, easy coming and going on and off the ship. It is very relaxed. We came back new! This is a lovely smaller ship and like that it can get into ports the big ships can't.
This met all the check points of a high adventure! It felt and looked like the dramatic top of the world place that it is. It felt so different than any other port. The town is remarkable for a small community. Very comfortable and interesting.
