Review summary

Average cruise with RCCL but Alaska was amazing. We will cruise to AK again but on a different cruiseline.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Not efficient but okay.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
General buffet food. Frequently cold and not much selection for proteins.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The adults only solarium was comfortable, clean and not too crowded most days.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
DJs were good but the cabaret show was a bit jumbled and strange. No flow, just strange music and lots of flashing lights. The dancers were great.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward was just okay. Did not see her much and she didn't go out of her way to learn our names or likes. The activities group was fantastic! Trivia, dance classes and game shows were so fun and inclusive.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Inside virtual balcony cabin. Worked for us since we were not in the cabin much at all. The virtual balcony was nice in the morning to see the sun. Lots of storage available but it was so high that there was a lot of movement felt that made my husband nauseous.

Ship tip

Spend time in the solarium and skip the huge busy buffet and go to the solarium bistro. Smaller but way less crowded.
