Review summary

I would not recommend the Royal Caribbean ovation of the sea to anyone. I thought the food was terrible and it made you upgrade to specialty dining if you wanted to enjoy any meal.

our couch had a huge brown stain. when i asked to be moved to another cabin they could not accommodate us. I asked for a sheet to cover the couch so I could atleast sit on it. On the 3rd day a new couch cover arrived and I felt better but honestly felt like they did me a favor somehow

I cruised on Ovation of the Seas and had a great time with great tasting food without the need to upgrade to specialty dining. I just enjoy my cruises without looking for petty gripes to complain about. I'm by no means a cruise snob, but why ruin the cruise by being miserable over petty issues.

Interesting......we were on Ovation AUG 2023 and found it to be wonderful. Meals were fine, certainly not like specialty, but I didn't feel the need to upgrade to specialty. I guess it's all about how you approach cruising....if you want 5 star accommodations and Michelin Star meals, choose a different cruiseline.
