Review summary

Since this is the biggest ship I've ever been on I was very impressed. (Though I've heard it's not the biggest or newest.) The ship was adequately sized for myself and seemed very clean and modern. I was very impressed with the staff and how friendly professional and knowledgeable they were. Special shout out to the main dining room staff. Activities were great and loved the excursions and ports.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Restaurant experience and staff was 5 stars, especially great was our main dining room waiter Dentana. (Sorry if it's spelled wrong). I also loved the large selection of food.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pools were excellent especially solarium pools. I loved the heated water temp and lack of children. Though I did see children inside from time to time so they could do better stopping them from getting in.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Entertainment seemed more suited to older audiences. Mark Preston was a good touch but artists more in tune with younger crowds would be great to see. I liked the "beautiful dream" play but it was heavily reliant on the props and short films. Songs were over played pop radio hits and didn't seem to make much sense with the story. Could be more avant garde in a sense. I LOVED the ovation of the seas orchestra. Their backing for Mark Preston was phenomenal and Mark was great himself. Their big band performance was also phenomenal. Was really impressed with their talent.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Dentana( sorry for mispell) our main dining room waiter was phenomenal. He went above and beyond to meet our needs and was so friendly and easy to talk to and explained everything perfectly without having to ask any questions. Would love to see him on the staff again. Charise in the Cafe was also very friendly and helpful we really enjoyed seeing her every day with our morning specialty coffee. One other shout out is Rocky or Robinson(?) He was our assistant with the north star experience and he was very good company and nice to talk to. Daryl our room steward was also very nice and cleaned our rooms well.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Loved it, would prefer room to be closer to buffet but can't complain.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Was bigger than I expected and the virtual balcony was a nice touch for an interior room while still on a budget price. Only complaint is HDMI was made inaccessible for TV which I did not like. I like to be able to play movies from my phone with the wifi I purchased.

Ship tip

Add hdmi access to television in cabin, we understand you want us to pay $10 to rent a movie but that will upset your guests as it's very blatant what you're trying to do with that.
