Review summary

The whole reason of booking with a company like was to avoid exactly what happened...walking into my cabin for the first time, going to my balcony and seeing nothing but a huge ugly yellow lifeboat in my way. We wound up covering the balcony with our luggage so we wouldn't be disappointed each time we looked out the balcony. I understand that i paid for a balcony guarantee room, and that this could be a possibility. But my original cabin was not obstructed at all...i know this for a fact because we wound up speaking to the people that wound up getting this room in the end.

We paid for a balcony room but wound up using the room as an interior room because there was a huge yellow life boat outside our balcony. Originally, i called your company to switch my cabin because of a few issues. The rep from your company switched by cabin that had an unobstructed view to a cabin with almost of completely obstructed view. When switching the cabin, it would have been nice to know that this was going to happen, so i could have made a decision on whether or not to switch cabins, or to switch to this specific cabin.

Ship tip

Do the research yourself and don't rely on a travel agent when booking.

Sorry you were disappointed. Best advice we received, never book a guaranteed cabin unless you just don’t care which stateroom you receive.

Lesson learned

When you choose a guarantee you give them the option to place you . You choose that for a lower price . You can't blame anyone for that but yourselves for choosing a guarantee.

LOL, I’m a travel agent and would have advised against a balcony guarantee.
