Review summary

We lucked out with the weather going the first & second week of June. The weather was absolutely amazing everywhere and we never experienced rain (only some minor drizzle once). It was cool and clear nearly the entire trip to include Seattle.

Embarkation

Mostly easy embarkation process. We were surprised at the need for additional photos despite submitting photos in advance. In general, this embarkation was much better than previous launches.

All of the dining was great with one exception. On the last night, I got food poisoning from an Indian dish in the main dining room. I am certain it was this one dish as it was the only thing that didn’t stay down the night. Everything else was very good.

Ship tip

Our room was right next to the solarium, down one deck. We could occasionally hear people dragging lounge chairs across the floor on the deck above us. With that rare occurrence, our room was very quiet. On our balcony, people on the observation deck outside the solarium could see most of our balcony, so there wasn’t a lot of privacy.
