Review summary

I will definitely go back. Really liked Skagway Tours for that port. Also found a great bus for $20 round trip to go see the bears and raptors in Sitka (be sure to sit on the right side of the bus for the free shuttle into town for better views).

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was mostly effortless. We had two in our party that required wheelchair assistance, and were separated from them to get to and through security. Had to search for them for check in.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food has been improving since the severe cut in quality following the pandemic. It keeps getting better, and will hopefully fully return one day. It's definitely the ingredients, not the chefs.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The staff were fantastic as usual. We had one child and he had a great time in adventure ocean and at the Sea Plex. Our friends have an adult autistic son who was treated with dignity, respect, and great patience.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows were very good, but so loud that we had to leave to avoid getting a headache (we all felt one coming on at almost every show).

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The reason we choose Royal Caribbean is their fantastic kids programs. My son loves everything they do.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff were wonderful. My son dropped his stuffy down the stairs and when he raced down to get it, it was gone. Security was able to track down where it went and returned it in just a couple hours. Our room attendant and wait staff were very attentive.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean. They were doing maintenance on our balcony on our last day (when we were in port), and I wish they had informed us before instead of being surprised to find them out there and unable to use our balcony.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Good layout. I'm not sure how I feel about the angled balcony. Because I was in Alaska, the wind made it too cold to be out there for long. I think I would love it in the Caribbean.

Ship tip

There are many nooks and crannies with interesting things. Be sure to explore the ship.

Disembarkation

The Seattle cruise port has an agreement with the airport that you can place your checked luggage out the night before and it will be sent to your airline and checked for you. It was amazing!
