Enjoyable, but disappointed that we did not see any glaciers on a Alaska glacier tour.

Very efficient boarding of passengers both in Seattle and at each port.

Slight variations in menu but some items remain every night. Very good service but plan on it taking 1.5 hrs to eat. If in a hurry, may want to pick a different venue. I was worried about formal nights as we did not take formal clothing but it was about half and half so don't worry about that.
Windjammer Marketplace

Good food, menu does not change much from day to day. Great view if you can get a window seat but sometimes difficult to find a table.
Solarium Bistro

Good food, good place to eat when we wanted to get in before our my time dining reservation.
Onboard Activities

Bingo was a waste of money, very expensive for only 4 games. The napkin folding and ribbon rose making was fun.

Fun, but not totally what was expected. The instructor are great if you watch them, but then when you go in they do not let go of you the whole time.

Night plays/entertainment was great.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had an interior cabin with a virtual balcony. Was pleasantly surprised that it was bigger than expected(1st cruise, so wasn't sure what to expect). Comfortable but we truly did not spend much time in our room. Another passenger with a balcony told us he had only been able to used his balcony once due to the cold.
Ship tip
Check out the Solurium early on, it a great place to hang out and enjoy the view, read, etc.
This area was skipped, and there was a medical emergency, so when we woke up, we were already in Juneau for the day. I was very disappointed, but if it was my family, I would want the same care. I just wish there had been some way we could have still gone thru it. Especially as the Mendenhall portion of our excursion was canceled.
Booked a Mendenhall glacier and whale watching tour. They changed it before hand as they did not have enough permits for Mendenhall but assured us we would have the opportunity to see 3 glaciers from the water. Upon boarding boat for excursions we were immediately told that we would not see glaciers due to weather (and this was normal Juneau weather). Everyone felt the misrepresented it. We complained to shore excursion and was told we was #15 to come complain. We were credited some of our money back but not enough considering we never saw a glacier on a glacier cruise. We did see Sea lions and whales.
Did excursion with train, bus, show at Liarsville , Red Onion Saloon. Our bus driver was great. The skit at Liarsville was cheesy and food was just okay. Train ride and Saloon. Was good. Walk back from Saloon is only a few blocks so very walkable if you want to stay in town longer.
Did not do an excursion, caught the bus $13 each for round trip. Only had 4 hours, so we rode to town and took some pics the back to ship. The shuttle drops you off by The Empress and Parliament. Very pretty area.
So many homeless in town! More homeless than I've ever seen in a city.
Pop museum- wasted my money, did not like.
Chiculy- beautiful artwork, well worth the money.
Sea Otters, Raptors, Bears oh my!
Was a great tour! Seen several whales, eagles wild and at rescue. Also saw sea otters, sea lions and of course bears at the bear place we visited. This excursion delivered exactly what it said.
