Review summary

Unfortunate unexpected issues that are rare occurrences on this particular trip, no ones fault, handled with everyone's health and wellbeing in mind. Cruise ship, Captain, and Crew, were exceptional. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I may even consider doing it again at some future date

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth, no long lines, concern for everyone's health

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
As I'm wheelchair bound, it was difficult to pass through state room hallways if there were cleaning carts or other passengers trying to also get through. However everyone was very nice about waiting for me to pass or moving obstacles out of the way.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great handicapped accessible stateroom, size excellent, set up great. Very easy to navigate in a wheelchair.

Ship tip

Pack warm clothes if going in may, it was colder than I expected.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

Just stayed evening before and day after cruise, did not do any excursion

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

Juneau, Alaska

Beautiful scenery, unfortunately due to a crew members medical emergency and the need to air lift them off the ship, we did not get into Juneau for our excursion, so missed a much anticipated whale watching tour. Unforseen issue, Captain made the right call in getting the crew member emergency treatment in a timely manner. ( it was announced that the transfer to treatment was successful and crew member doing well).

Skagway, Alaska

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER Did not visit port

Fog made it impossible to safely negotiate, again unfortunate unforseen issue.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
Had not planned an excursion at this port but found out the night before, from a fellow passenger that a whale watching tour was offered as an excursion here, we went to the shore excursion desk and were able to get on an excursion. Thrilled to say we got to see 2different species of whales.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Again no excessively long lines, coordinated well.
