Review summary

A most memorable cruise, a bucket list item! We'd do it again :)

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Fast & easy...they didn't indicated 'no waiting' in the long line if you're diamond so be sure to ask if they're still doing it.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main Dining was great as usual, spaced out giving lots of privacy and a quiet intimate experience.

Solarium Bistro

1 out of 5

Solarium Bistro was a big disappointment. The buffet was reduced to only a few rows of sides to select from, main courses were 3 meat selections, not the vegetarian thrill it used to be... will not be returning to that venue.

The Grande

5 out of 5

Great service, waiters were so friendly and enjoyed chatting. The spacing made this much more intimate and enjoyable without loud neighbors. Lovely music.

Windjammer Marketplace

5 out of 5

This was great, not crowded, safe distances... cupcakes were too die for, not too sweet & filled with surprise filings. Lunch on last sea day was seafood heaven with lobster tails, shrimp & so much more!

Onboard Activities

Shore Excursions

5 out of 5

The excursions to the glaciers & nature watching was out of this world! Whales, seals, Orcas, sea lions....awesome!!!! However, Alaska wasn't expecting visitors this mid summer so the White Pass & Yukon Railroad only went about 14 miles up to the bridge, many shops were closed (or out of business due to covid) and the restaurants were out of crab (serious crab shortage everywhere). But it was one of our most memorable cruise because of the scenery!

Casino Royale

4 out of 5

Service was great and attentive! Slots were okay, a lot of duplicate older machines. Husband loved the table action.

Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center

5 out of 5

Massage was so relaxing this time WITHOUT any sales pitches for products and additional services.

Prince & Greene

3 out of 5

They didn't have polo shirts for my husband anymore... no ladies tops either. Need more variety and sizes.

Diamond Club

5 out of 5

They were so happy to be back, fabulous to chat with and friendly!!

The best place to relax & have a drink!

Two70 Lounge

We loved the sea dayafternoon movies (old fashioned date style for us)

SeaPlex

Bumper cars brought back the child in everyone!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
They were all so happy, friendly and welcoming.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was fresh, new and sparkling clean!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great, clean & a deep balcony with chairs & footrests for watching the icebergs float by.

Ship tip

Check everything out. Don't stay in one place because you feel in love with that area, there's so much more!

Ports of call

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

4 out of 5
It was great, but the ship didn't do the 360+ turn at the end (closest to the glacier) so everyone on all sides of the ship could see Dawes Glacier. I know they had a tight time schedule though.

Skagway, Alaska

Sitka, Alaska
