It truly was a dream vacation. Got to check off a number of things on bucket list and would do it again in a heartbeat!
Embarkation

Dropped off luggage with a porter and made our way inside terminal alittle after noon. Lines were long but moved quickly and we were on the ship within 20-30 minutes.

Always super busy but food was great. Lots of choices and variety. Ate most of our meals here and always walked away feeling full. This is also our second favorite place for specialty coffee. Stopped on our way out of dinner every night to get a Mocha cremice. A must try!
American Icon Grille

Entertainment

We didn’t do a lot of shows but did see Pixels. Not what we expected at all. Some of it was good some not so much. Very loud and if you sit up close you miss a lot.

Everyone we met went out of their way to make sure we were having a great time. Everyone greeted you as walked by even if they were busy doing something.

Very Spacious and lots of storage. Balcony was our favorite place to hang out most nights.
Did a bus ride up to Haines Canada and then a train ride back down to Skagway. Train was so much fun and beautiful scenery. After train walked thru town and back to ship. Be prepared it is a long walk but worth it to see the town.
Was not able to go all the way to Glacier. To many ice chunks Captain said it was not safe. Had a little boat pass us as we were turning around, found out later that the little boat got stuck and couldn’t make it either.
We did a scenic tour along with the castle tour. The castle was beautiful but crowded and had rude people pushing way into room when only 2-3 could fit. They were not allowing people to fully read all the information about the rooms.
