Very Clean, nice chip, but it seemed to me to be a very average ship.

The ship was well maintained. In fact, maintenance activities on the promenade deck required part of the deck to be cordoned off in the mornings during the key walking/running time. Perhaps the work could be scheduled to start slightly later in the day.

Well run, clean and attentive staff. THE SHIPS POLICY OF CHANGING TIME WITH TIME ZONES NEEDS TO BE RE-EVALUATED UNLESS THEY CAN FIGURE OUT A WAY TO HAVE ALL OF THE SHIPS CLOCKS THE SAME. tHERE WERE SEVERAL TIMES WHEN THE CLOCKS AT THE BUFFETT WERE AN HOUR OFF FROM THOSE ON THE tv CHANNEL. Why not have a ships time that doesnt change???

loved it the staff, the friends we made on the ship and the excursions were awesome.

all service personnel were exceptional. Pinnacle Grill was fabulous. Canatello's was okay not great.

Great crew and clean!

I always was said that after a Carnival cruise, the next cruise could only be better---wrong!!!! I'll never go on Holland America again. First night-no light in bathroom, comode stopping up when too much toilet paper is used; balcony stateroom door banging so loud from the adjacent staterooms that I was awakened several times; safe failed. There was not too much to do and there was no available snacks 24/7 like other cruises that I have been on. I will say that the crew was very friendly, food was excellent and the stateroom was roomy so I did not feel cramped.

holland america is a great cruise line better than the rest of them

This was our first time crusing and we would recommend Holland America to anyone who may be considering taking a cruise. It was wonderful... relaxing, great service, entertaining, something for everyone.

This ship is showing a bit of wear and tear but we would still sail on it again.

Awesome! Very relaxing! Friendly staff who actually said good morning and good evening as you walked by. VERY CLEAN! Teen program was great. Kids loved it! Met other teens from all over the world! The only thing that I would have changed is the bunk in the quad stateroom was directly above the queen size bed and I hit my head several times before getting used to it. Other than that very comfortable.

The staff was warm friendly and helpful I would gladly tip them. But the cruiseline policy is that we are charged $44 per day for two adults and two children for tips. It is mandatory. Why not just build that into the price of the cruise and pay the staff well? It seems slimey to do it that way. If we wanted to stand in a long line and fight it we could have, but I don't begrudge the staff. I just think it could be handled differently.

Excellent service, outstanding food, wonderful entertainment program and great overall organization made the cruise unforgettable.

Everything was great. We had a great time and the service was terrific. Our cabin was always done up so well. The dinning room was clean and well staffed. Our table mates were all pleasant to visit with and new friends were established. Timing was as expected. getting on and off the ship was smooth and easyly done.

this ship was very nice. Ther had an excellent sail away program for leaving San Diego. The food was great and the cooking demponstrations enjoyable. I felt the service lacking in all areas the dinning room staff talked among themselves and not to us. The state room steward paid no attention to the cleanlinedd of the balcony and glasses in the room were a mishmash of sizes

Dated entertainment, pool hours should go into the evenings. Hot tub not functioning.

Food was great; most of the entertainment was good. The decor is tacky.

I love this ship! The staff and crew were excellent and very friendly! They had a camp for my 4 year old that was her favorite. (only wish it was for younger kiddos too.) Everything about the ship was amazing, the atmosphere, the room, the shows, the crew, everything.

a delightful time, great for book reading and relaxing. Going ashore if you wish...I only left the ship in one port. An awesome Captain, who explained things to us in advance...all in all a very wonderful experience..

experience was marred by ship changing cabin from "HH" to "main deck" after without first contacting me. worst was ship saying that "main deck" was an upgrade from "HH" and, therefore, they didn't need to contact me before making the cqange.
