Review summary
This was a cruise of a lifetime. Amazing ports of call.Embarkation
Our taxi driver had some trouble finding which birth to go to, but once we arrived everything went smoothly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Excellent meals and service in the dining room. We took breakfast there when possible and most dinners. The wait staff was superb. We also had several meals on the Lido deck. Very casual and very good variety.
Onboard Activities
The ship has a very good spa.
Entertainment
We were disappointed to learn that Holland no longer offers the Lincoln Center Stage. That was a primary reason we booked with Holland, to attend the concerts by very talented young musicians. It was unclear as to whether Holland discontinued the contract or the Lincoln Center. Regardless, we were not told ahead of time about this.

Service and Staff
Our room steward and our wait staff were excellent. Every staff person we met offered smiles and greetings.
Ship Quality
This is one of their older ships and it is showing. No issue with cleanliness.
Cabin / Stateroom
Again, we were very pleased with our cabin steward. We enjoyed our veranda very much.
Ports of call
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
We took the excursion to Pisa - wonderful!

We did not go to Rome (been there several times) so we took our own tour of the port town.
We loved being able to go on the bow of the ship to see the amazing views while sailing.
My favorite port of call on this cruise. Just a lovely old city area with many nice restaurants.
Disembarkation
Holland helped us with transport to Venice so we could connect to a water bus to get to our hotel.
