Book excursions early
SherryParker
Make sure you get an itinerary to enjoy all the ships amenities.

The ship this week wasn’t at full capacity and there were a LOT of people onboard. On sea days it was hard to get a chair at the pool if you didn’t get out there early.
MelAndChris
Book things like the North Star or Flow Rider as soon as you get on the ship as they book up quickly.
devschk
North Star on a sea day is amazing

Don’t book the Casitas if you are wanting one on pool deck. They let the Royal Genie guests pre-reserve the good casitas.
joespennies
If you are a foodie, the dining experiences are not optional, book the speciality restaurants you are even remotely interested in and you won’t be disappointed. Consider them “excursions” and don’t think twice.
rodger53
Be prepared to deal with rude customer service.
Scheuerm
Make reservations for the IFLY and NorthStar as soon as you get on board.

Cruising has changed in my opinion due to Covid, hence have no expectations and if you were an avid cruiser prior, the standard of RC or rather what I have always encountered was not, if this was my first experience with RC, it would have been my last, it was not memorable, however this is my 4th cruise with RC; I will try another ship with them as this is my first with this lackluster service, thus will not write RC off yet.

I placed many tips in each category however, I would mention that we found The Key to be an added bonus that paid off especially in embarkation and disembarking. The embarkation lunch and disembarkation breakfast was great! Also, see pics for an open balcony to your neighbors.

Make sure you see the Book in 270
bykerdude29
save your money and go on the oasis class
susanjreger
Expect a lot of extra charges, bring a large drink cup.
BruceJ6952832
Book entertainment on the RC app as soon as you are on the ship.
donnamacauley
Take advantage of the activities. At port day, they activities that cost $ are FREE!
Seagirl7
Have Fun!! And make reservations right away if you want to do the North Star and/or Ripcord on a port day when they’re free
bluebonnet613
Make reservations as soon as you get on board for shows. Reserve the North Star and skydiving simulator for port days when it is free. Go to the pool deck to reserve the North Star and skydiving simulator as soon as you get onboard or there won't be any spaces left for port days when it is free. Don't miss the show The Book in the Two70 theater. Sit in the front row of the balcony so you won't miss anything.

Be ready for a fantastic experience.
