Review summary

Overall this was a fantastic relaxing cruise! I would definitely recommend this ship along with any cruise going to Coco Cay!

Embarkation

Embarkation was smooth and quick, there were some hiccups with the 3rd party check-in however, this was not RC's issues. Tip: We were an hour delayed for extra ship cleaning. The Key, got us right to the front and on board quickly (There were long lines curving around the port building. We avoided all the lines.

This is a great experience although it is not open as often as you would think. Be sure to check the Royal app before heading down.

Sorrento's Pizza

We visited Sorrento's Pizza on a port day and although we enjoyed the pizza, there are opportunities here to make adjustments. Teppanyaki was also fantastic. Keep in mind the experience does not include fire. (Ship safety)Tip: Sorrento's only has a soda machine to the left of the entrance for those with a drink package. Recommend grabbing a beverage from Cafe Promenade or the lounge left of the entrance prior to dinning.

Solarium Bistro

The food here is good although the same menu repeats nightly, if you are looking for something more on the healty side, this is the place for you!

Giovanni's Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar

We sat at the wine bar for lunch, the portions are fairly large for the price!

Tip: If you buy the coffee package, this is one of the only venues where you can use your card.

Odyssey or Quantum class ships are different from the other RC class ships in that they are not as open and airy however, we enjoyed many of the technologies the packed in this ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was spacious and provided great views!

Ship tip

I placed many tips in each category however, I would mention that we found The Key to be an added bonus that paid off especially in embarkation and disembarking. The embarkation lunch and disembarkation breakfast was great! Also, see pics for an open balcony to your neighbors.
