We loved our time on the Odyssey and will definitely be sailing on her again! We especially loved the Two70 theater, ice skating show, pools, bumper cars and archery.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the main dining room each evening and ate at the buffet or Sorrento's pizza during our stay. All of the food was yummy!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We hung out in the Solarium, but also enjoyed the bumper cars and archery, the sky diving simulator, and the North Star.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The Book production in the Two70 theater as fabulous! We watched it twice, once up close and then again in the balcony. The show is high tech and full of things to see, so much so we had to watch it twice from different locations so we didn't miss anything!
Children's Programs
We did not bring any children with us.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
The waiters seemed to be understaffed during our cruise and had little time to talk and visit like they normally would. They still managed to do a great job. We did have a problem with our room steward taking our pool towels every night from our room and not replacing them.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Beautiful new ship that was clean and well-maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Lovely room with large flat screen TV. The bed was a bit hard for our liking.
Ship tip
Make reservations as soon as you get on board for shows. Reserve the North Star and skydiving simulator for port days when it is free. Go to the pool deck to reserve the North Star and skydiving simulator as soon as you get onboard or there won't be any spaces left for port days when it is free. Don't miss the show The Book in the Two70 theater. Sit in the front row of the balcony so you won't miss anything.
Can't say enough good things about CocoCay!!!! Try the mango daiquiri! We love being able to snorkel and lounge by the pool in the same place while enjoying free food!
We did a bus excursion around the island. Our first stop was the Casibari Boulders. We enjoyed the unique boulder shapes and cactus, but only had about 20-30 minutes to explore. Our second stop was Alta Vista Chapel. It was nice, but not that exciting. Our third stop was the California Lighthouse. It was cool to see, but you had to pay to climb the stairs and there was wire around the top so you don't have an unobstructed view. Our last stop was Eagle Beach where the bus dropped us off for 2 hours and then picked us back up. There weren't many eating choices there and there was a lot of jet ski traffic and larger waves in the water. It was not one of our favorite beaches, even with the white sand and beautiful water.
We paid a taxi driver $80 to take 4 of us to swim with turtles and then on to Grote Knip beach. It is a bit of a drive, but so worth it!! The beach is gorgeous, not crowded and great for snorkeling and swimming. When we returned to the city we enjoyed walking around and seeing all the colorful buildings, just a short walk from the port.
