Review summary

The cruise itself was great. The staff was helpful. Ship, food and accommodations were great. HOWEVER, given that this was a European cruise it involved Air2Sea transfers arranged by Royal Caribbean International. Getting there was great, direct flight from Atlanta. The return home was horrific. We were sent to Chicago. We literally spent 24 hours in transit and because our final flight was now domestic our luggage ended up on the domestic side of the airport but our car was parked on the international side. We were completely exhausted. It really left a poor impression of the entire cruise experience. We would think twice about taking Royal Caribbean again after that disrespectful experience.

great excursion. 3 ships in port so we avoided the cable cars to get back to port. Had to avoid the donkey doo on the way down the path. Not recommended for people not used to walking. Trip was very slippery due to stones. Didn't smell bad at all but the avoidance of donkeys and poo was quite challenging. The villages of Oi and and Fira were beautiful. Wine tasting was great.

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. I was on it 2 weeks prior with 1 less stop. Don't let that experience question booking with them again. I had Air2Sea travel, but I requested certain flights. I just researched what flights I wanted to be on and had them only select those flights. Hopefully that helps with your next trip.

Yeah always book your airfare yourself. In our experience the Air2Sea is crap lol
