Overall, we really enjoyed the cruise on the Oasis. It was the biggest ship we've ever cruised on and it was surprisingly homey and cozy. We thought it would've been a lot more scurrying around to get places. Also, the staff and crew are amazing!!

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food in the main dining rooms was so good that we almost wished we hadn't already signed up for some specialty dinners, though they were delish as well. The escargot was some of the best we've had and the lobster tail was cooked to perfection! Both of those dishes were served in the main dining rooms!
Onboard Activities

We enjoyed the hot tubs and pools and watched a movie in the aquatheater.

Service and Staff

The service on the Oasis is top notch. Everyone we encountered from our room steward to the waiters in the dining rooms were were spot on with getting us anything that we needed.
Ship Quality

Everything is located pretty centrally. We thought it was going to be a ton of walking to get to everything since the ship was so big but were pleasantly surprised to find that things were very convenient.
Cabin / Stateroom

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I will probably try to get a junior suite next time though since the bathroom is so small in anything smaller than a suite.
Ship tip
Make sure you stroll through Central Park which is where several of the nicer restaurants are. We tried Giovanni's which was reasonable and delicious. Also check out Park Cafe where the salads are heaping and complimentary!
Enjoyed the ATV excursion but wish that it was through the island instead of on a circle 8 trail. Also, the beach they take you to after is nice but the drinks didn't seem to have any alcohol in them including the margarita.
The Chocobban Mayan ruins tour was the perfect length, 50 minutes driving there on a bus. It wasn't so deep into the island that you had to spend most of your day getting there and back like some of the other Mayan tours. Very interesting and educational for all.
Not bad for the number of people they have to get off the boat. At one point, the port terminal couldn't keep up with the rste at which people were coming off the ship so they had to halt disembarking for about 15 minutes or so but then they started back up again. with
Thanks for the very informative and helpful review. Going in November with the family and will definitely be taking your tips into consideration π π βΊοΈ
