Review summary

If this was our first NCL cruise, probably would not cruise again but had a great time on last NCL cruise. Planned this trip over 20 months ago for our 25th anniversary and disappointed is all I can say

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was average, service was good but staff had no emotion and were robotic. LeBistro for anniversary dinner, the worst specialty dining experience in our 9 cruises. Again, staff had no emotion, food was poor.

Le Bistro

The experience did not match an anticipated French Restaurant.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Staff performed their jobs but everything was so robotic with a few exceptions. Bar service was methodical a lot of standing and waiting.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Very clean and grievous to look at but everything is so crowded. Cannot walk in opposite direction in common areas without stepping aside to let someone through.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very spacious including the shower. Comfortable bed, limited TV and movie selection

Ship tip

Book your dining experience early, shows were good.

Ports of call

Bridgetown, Barbados

Island is nice but we had a rough excursion. Supposed to be 3 1/2 hours which turned into 5 1/2 hours. Learned more about the tour guide than we did about Barbados

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
