We used the free port valet service offered at Seattle and disembarkation was a breeze with bags checked to final destination.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The specialty restaurants (le bistro and the Cagneys steakhouse) were excellent. However my husband and could have shared a meal at Cagneys and still have had too much food. Wonder if we could have did be that and come back again. Only one main dining room opened at a time due to low number of passengers. Had a couple of great meals I n the main dining rooms. The rest were good but not overly memorable. The buffet had good variety for breakfast and lunch

Onboard Activities

The start and end point for f cruise. Did not do any excursions

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
There was enough time to explore the town and then get back to ship to relax. Did not do any of the excursions

Cruise Glacier Bay

5 out of 5
The scenery was amazing and the park ranger commentary and talk later were informative and interesting. Saw sea otter, porpoise and whale from ship

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

5 out of 5
Beautiful setting but not mostly tourist shops. I think the excursions were probably good but many had theirs canceled due t weather so you’re left with what the port has to offer.

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

5 out of 5
Funky little community with shops. We walked around the town and watched the salmon trying to get up the ladder, and the sea gulls and seals feasting. Also saw a number of bald eagle free m the ship

Victoria, British Columbia

I actually chose this cruise for the chance to revisit Victoria where we spent our honeymoon 30 some odd years ago HOWEVER the ship arrived at night and as only there for a few hours. We didn’t even bother getting off the ship since it got in an hour late. Folks that did the horse drawn trolley said the couldn’t reall see much. Plus museums, gardens, etc were closed. Big disappointment. Not sure what the point was. Plus we had to get Covid tests before boarding but n Seattle-an unexpected and unnecessary exp bae Should have read the reviews before booking since this was an important stop for me
