Review summary

Food was terrible and service was OK. They changed ports last minute and all excursions were cancelled. We had booked excursions through outside parties which was cheaper. But the cruise director failed to honor any discount at all. Very dissapointed

Depending on who you booked your excursions through you may be entitled to a refund. That is why you read the refund policies and all fine print. Same with the cruise documents. Be an informed cruiser and you'll have smooth sailing. We never book through the cruise line but use companies such as shore excursions.com or Orbitz which both have refund policies or guarantees. Going on our 14th cruise and never had any issues booking our own.

Most outside companies offer a full refund if your ship doesn't dock. Just read what's guaranteed.

Ok, thank you!!😀

No, I either pre buy on the cruise line website or do it onboard

yulonda123    8 years ago

@eddimac1, do you book using this app?

eddiemac1    8 years ago

I always use the cruise line

yulonda123    8 years ago

That's my only fear with booking via outside parties. There is more security booking through the cruise line.

That is why we always book through the cruise line..

Why should the cruise line offer anything when you booked through outside vendors? And, if you actually read the cruise contract, it clearly states ports are subject to change.
