The whole cruise was handled excellently by the crew & staff. The on-board entertainment was excellent. We were kept well informed about all aspects of our location, ports of call and other spectacular viewing ops that we cruised past.  I would recommend this cruise to anyone (just suggest the northbound route so that you see the best sights near the end). Take a good camera & a lot of SD cards - not just a cell-phone or tablet camera. Norwegian's style of "Free Style" cruising is the only way to go - allows you to relax and do things as you want, fit your cruise to you in stead of you having to fit into the cruise.Love

Onboard Activities

They had a lot of activities but I chose to relax on deck & view the scenery - one of the joys of "Free Style" cruising

Ship Tip

Their way of "Free Style" cruising is excellent - totally allows you to fit your cruise to you instead of you having to fit yourself into the cruise

To be the state capital it is somewhat disappointing - Don't take any of the tours to Mendenhall Glacier, you can take a shuttle from town to the same visitor's center for only $30 per person

Best port of call of the whole trip - make time to just walk around town

Have your camera ready & be ready to be amazed - the rear of the ship is the best viewing location

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

Again, have your camera ready & be ready to be amazed - the rear of the ship is the best viewing
