Review summary

Everything exceeded our expectations. Views of this beautiful land were simply awe inspiring. I loved running the track on deck 6 while gazing out at amazing sites. I even spotted whales spouting and tails rising.

Ship tip

Rent a car from Seward to Anchorage. There are beautiful hikes to do on your way to the airport. We hiked Ptarmigan Lake Trail.

Hiked to Mendenhall Glacier. Make sure that you go to the end of trail for overlook view and then scramble down to glacier to walk on it. We even drank from its dripping water.

The current was too rough so the captain couldn't dock so we went to Haines. Lot's of bald eagles.

Everything was amazing. Great narration from park rangers. We saw a black wolf following the coastline and sea otters frolicking in the water.
