Review summary
This was our second time cruising with Norwegian and our first on the Norwegian Sun. We loved our cabin, a superior inside stateroom. We had been upgraded and was pleasantly surprised at the comfortable accomodations. Lots of storage and a great sitting area. This came in handy since we were traveling with 3 other couples and we could visit each other! The ship was very well maintained and there was always someone around to help you and take care of you. Our cabin stewart was exceptional. We only ate at the main resturant, garden cafe and also tried the pizza, pasta and sandwiches located in another area. Our food was often great and at the least good. We both used the exercise facility and loved the new treadmills, bikes and eliptical trainers. This is our 6th cruise and was very pleased with the ship and staff overall.Ports of call

Pros: The ports visited were great and we enjoyed the trip down the Mississippi. The staff was very friendly on the ship, especially our cabin stewart.
Cons: You had to walk through the Garden Cafe to get to the pool area. It took too long to get our luggage to the stateroom, almost 5 hours after we had been on the ship.
Recommends Norwegian Sun? Yes!
