Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
we had difficulty making resvations in speacilty restarnts. We found the buffet to be good but repeticious especially the breakfast menu. we were celebrating a birthday and gave card to waiter. cake was never brought out and no acknowledgment of birthday. Later that evening cake was brought to my room.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
held everyones attention. shows were timely and well organized

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
lot to offer for younsters on board and highly recommended.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
we found everyone on board to be courteous and attentived at all times. However there was a lack of coordination of staff.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
we found our stateroom to be in poor condition 1. the shower didn't drain properly. was fixed next day. 2. the electrical 110 outlet didn't work and it was reported twice but never was fixed or looked at in bathroom. 3. coffee grounds were in the coffee pot from previous cruise. 4. Fingerprint smudges were ont he cabin doors. Very dirty. Did get cleaned but after we complained.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
furnishing in the stateroom need to be upgraded, especially the mattress and pillows. in our state room 8043 you could actually feel the springs in one of the beds. staterooms were not made up until quite late in the day which caused the staterooms not to be prepared for bedtime until quite late. This was a problem if you were traveling with children as we were.

Ports of call

5 out of 5

Prince Rupert, British Columbia

1 out of 5
waste of a stop

Pros: enjoyed the ports of call and excursions were plentiful and embarkation/disembarkation were smooth and timely

Cons: number lack of coordination of staff. nlc and priceline never noted lattitude so we were not invited of the lattitude party on the ship.
