I enjoyed the cruise and especially the day spent in Mazatlan.

We left San Pedro in the rain , nice and sunny in Manzanillo next stop Puerto Vallarta nice weather went to the beach. Next stop Mazatlán went to Stone Island and then on to Cabo San Lucas for a over night stay

I loved the cruise!! Everything was perfect!! All of the staff was amazing, so funny and nice

3년만에 다시 탄 Norwegian Star ship 반가움과 익숙함. . ... 우리 가족들에게 행복하고 즐거운 추억을 만들어줬다. 3년전에는 한국사람이 우리 뿐이었는데 이번에는 많은 한국사람들을 만날수 있었다. 12층 뷔페의 아시안 나이트에 나온 김치가 반가웠다^^

Sailed out of San Pedro , first port was Manzanillo Mexico went to my favorite restaurant, next stop Puerto Vallarta to the bus downtown , next stop Mazatlán went to Stone Island and then 2 days in Cabo San Lucas , we saw a lot of whales in Cabo.

We loved our cruise. The entertainment was a highlight as always with NCL. Food was just ok. Staff were great. We will be be cruising NCL again.

We had a group of 15 Cabins on March 2,2019 Although we had a great time. We found the food quality to not be great in the included restaurants. And we all purchased 4 nights of specialty restaurants each and found the food quality to be disappointing as well except for the Italian restaurant. The steak restaurant was so so however how can you take the baked potato off of the menu in a steak restaurant? I understand that you took the Lobster off, because you give so many specialty restaurants packages away, but for those who pay out of pocket we should at least be able to order a baked potato in a steak restaurant. NCL gives away these perks and those who choose to pay for them suffer. Service was great in all of the restaurants and bars. Everyone was very helpful and did a great job. The ship was very dated and needs refurbishment. The ports were fun and The Champagne bar was great.

Great cruise. Make sure you want to do 14 days. It can be boring after a while. You do get a lot of extra perks when booking a suite. i.e. a separate semi-private dining room for breakfast and lunch, free rooms service, reserved seating at the shows, etc. It does make it nice. But as mentioned, the room was not up to expectations due to the window problems.

Our 14 day Panama Canal cruise on NCL was an unforgettable experience.

It was a 14 day cruise which is a long time. The entertainment was very good from the lounges to the main show room. Food was average in the main dining rooms, above average in specialty dining, and excellent a Cagney's Steakhouse. Bar service was good (we had the drink package). It came with the booking. I think NCL is running a bit of a scam on the packages. They charge $89 a day for each person if you buy it, plus 18% tip. Royal Caribbean only charges $45 plus 15% tip per day. So NCL includes a drink package option when booked. They charge the tips at the time you book based on $89 a day for each person. It's their way to get you the package (you can cruise for less if you don't take it) for less. Of course the price to buy ala carte if terribly inflated. The ship needs fixing. Out of order toilets and broken seats in the theater don't cut it. Overall the cruise was fun and worth it

The canal was nice. The rest of the ports were so-so.

The cruise was amazing would love to visit some of the ports again in the future

Would do it again. Now we kniw what they are like it will be much easier and relaxing to arrange Sea Days. We are not good with Sea Days they were not our favorites

Cabin 9152. 9156 9158. (There is no 9154] A party of six. We booked the 3 cabins specifically and they were lovely, stepped out into the corridor and along a bit, opened the door to the Internet room to find the super sight of the atrium and walked down to the floors below. Really lovely position. Well, that was until we learnt just before we left, that our balcony would be obstructed during the Panama Canal transit. We could have moved but we wanted to all be on the same deck. So, we were offered $200 compensation. OK we accepted it as did another member of our party next door as they would suffer too. It would be during the second part of the transit, we were told. Well, at 11.15 the maintenance equipment was slid along to our balcony. It was there until 5.15. During the transit of the lake, when we would have sat on the balcony, we couldn’t. Family in the 3rd cabin complained too as although not on their balcony, they could not look out to their left to take photos. They got their compensation before we did! We had to have an argument with staff who tried to tell us that our OBC was our compensation !!! Having asked several times when we would get our compensation this was the last straw. We had to see an officer in the end, and he finally sorted it out with one click of his computer. We all got the compensation, but what I cannot understand is this. If these cabins are always obstructed by this bit of machinery during the transit of the canal - we learnt that it was not maintenance as we had been told by reception, it was so that the captain could the end of the ship as the ship goes into the canal. Fair enough. Why do they not tell you when you book?? We booked a year in advance! This caused a lot of stress with the lies and fobbing off by reception and we finally had to lose our cool. So, it was a fab cruise, a great time had by all. Careful if you book the Everglades trip on the last day though. They mixed Fort Lauderdale flights and Miami. Allowed people on the coach who were due to fly earlier than the ticket should have allowed, our trip was cut very short to get people to Miami airport in time to fly....... not a happy coach of travellers to Fort Lauderdale..... All in all, we did have a great time, good food, great entertainment and the ports of call were wonderful.

Absolutely wonderful cruise had one day of bad weather or than that it was a great cruise with very nice places to go visit and going through the Panama Canal was absolutely amazing

The ship overall was nicer than I anticipated. Since it was built in 2001. Even though it was refurbished in 2015, I thought it might be showing significant signs of age but it did not. The entertainment and the entertainment staff were great. Food was good (we certainly did not go hungry) and the Panama Canal transit was the pinnacle of the cruise. None of the ports were especially outstanding. Excursions in Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica were all over an hour's drive away which really detracts from the tour. If the excursion is only 5 hours long, you spend at least half of it travelling. After a while, all of the country sides start looking the same.

Had s good cruise but the 6 sea days did get s little long. Would do it again knowledge what we do now. Ship could use a refurbishment but I heard it is to happen this May. Still a lovely ship overall.

Disappointed, not comparable to previous trips. Couldn’t believe how the staff was less friendly

The canal was the best part. Food was mediocre, would not recommend.
