Review summary

I enjoyed the cruise and especially the day spent in Mazatlan.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The checkin and embarkation was very fast and efficient, with only an expected amount of standing in line. One negative -- a wheel was broken off from my fiancé's suitcase by the luggage handlers.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dining rooms had high quality food. We did not attend the specialty restaurants. I liked the Java Cafe (I think that was the name) where I was able to get a good coffee each morning.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed especially the hot tubs since the air was generally cold. We also enjoyed an outdoor fitness class one morning, on the heliport deck. The trivia contests were amusing.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We attended one stage show by the production cast of the Star, but I did not like the style of this kind of performance. We enjoyed the White Magic show (and the workshop later), and the comedy show.

Children's Programs

No children with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone in the staff was friendly and helpful. Especially our steward Nanja.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Very comfortable and cozy.

Ship tip

Do not download the Concierge App and do not pay the $10 for the useless texting/calling service.
