The ship was gorgeous.

Everything ran well. The tenders were organized. Embarking and disembarking impressed me, one of the best I have experienced. I've taken close to 20 cruises and time was not wasted. Friendly, helpful staff. The ship was clean. The fruit was as fresh as can be. A positive experience, I recommend this trip. The indoor pool should be free and adults only. Keep the jacuzzi's open longer.

The ship was clean and well maintained.

Clean, well maintained. Service excellent. Food good but not outstanding. Entertainment superb!! Variety of activities and shore excursions excellent. Loved the balcony rooms.

Perfect size, very clean & great staff

This is my second tiame on the Norwegian Star. It is a beautiful ship, although it is starting to show wear, especially in the carpeting. The Spinnaker Lounge has a wonderful view of the front of the ship as it ventures forward to the next port of call. The activities in the evening in the Spinnaker were varied and great entertainment for everyone, and included an "adults only" show by Second City that was later in the evening.

I have been on 15 cruises and was NOT the least bit dissapointed! The price was terrific, and the trip excellent! The staff had the best attitude that I have ever seen, food was great, freestyle cruising was a wonderful experience. The restaurants that you pay for were a great bargain and food was best at those.

Food in main dining rooms and in the Blue Lagoon was terrific, but the cafeteria style food was just fair. We had a mini suite and it was very nice. The cabin steward wasn't very flexible - in our 10+ cruises with other cruise lines stewards usually went in while you were at breakfast, etc. The ports were great. The ship was layed out well. The in room movies were a plus. Being able to stay in the room until disembarkation was terrific. Transportation via the cruise line to and from airport was efficient, easy and timely.

I never imagine all the fun I was going to have on this cruise. I'm pregnant and I thought it wasn't going to fell confortable but I was wrong!!!. I felt confortable and I didn't feel any dizziness at all. I did enjoy the cruise and I definitively recomend it to all my friends and family, I'm sure they will make a reservation very soon.

Overall it was wonderful to see so many beautiful places and watch wonderful shows on board. The shows were really impressive. People are very cordial and friendly. It's nice to be around a lot of people having fun together. We love the upbeat atmosphere and fun schedule line ups. It's a great experience that we like to enjoy again and again with our family.

This is a good ship with a good crew of well trained people. The ship was in good shape and kept in good condition. The events were well handled and we saw no glitches in the way that the information matched the actuality of the events. I think that the cruise director spent too much time pitching the "sales" activities and did not spend enough time explaining the schedule and aspects of shore visits.

It is our first cruise and norwegian star was amazing.The ports are nicely itenirized.Talking about the marvelous crew,I can't thank them enough.The service was great,they keep the ship so clean and the atmosphere was warm that it feels like home away from home.I highly recommend it.Lastly,the feeling of freedom to eat,wake up,and do activity in your own choice and time.Thanks Norwegian Star for a great time .

The ship was in great shape, it was very clean and it was easy to get around the ship.

The Norwegian Star is deserving of its status as fleet flagship. We are veteran cruisers, this being our third cruise, and second time with the Norwegian line. It seems that each time we have cruised has been a step up in value and enjoyment.

The metal that is on the floor sticks up high. I saw several people trip and I saw an older lady fall.

1) Nicely decorated 2) Hard working staffs 3) So so food 4) Balcony room is well worth it 5) Stay away from the ship front to avoid sea sickness 6) 's on line booking made this vacation extremely convienence 7) Last but not least, thanks for the room upgraded (from BD to BA)

It was okay.

Excellent ship with a great layout. I didn't need map to find all the rooms and events. Getting on the ship in California was lengthy (longer than Carnival) and not sure what took so long. Exiting the ship went very smooth and was fast. Bags were easy to find (much better than Carnival).

The ship was spacious and updated with large gathering areas. Reservations for the specialty dining were very difficult to get. Our stateroom was large and comfortable with a great balcony. I didn't particularily like the layout of the ship as you had to walk through eating areas to get from one end of the ship to the other. The staff wanted you to sanitize your hands even if you were just walking through. On one side of the ship you needed to walk through a bar with smoking to get to the gift shop. The Spa was a wonderful experience.

Because of a tragedy on the cruise coming back to LA. A woman jumped overboard so ship was delayed. We were at airport 5 hours waiting for buses to ship. Terminal was utter madness. Did not board ship until 7-7:30. Ship did not sail until 8:00 pm. Missed quite a bit of the first day on ship. Very sorry for the poor woman. A prayer for her soul.
