Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
1) I guess it's because of the mass production, most of the food I ate are overcooked. 2) Some items in the menu are better served in medium or even rare.

Entertainment

3 out of 5

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
1) Roughly 80% of the staffs are from Asia (mostly Philippinos), and 10% are Romania. 2) All are friendliness, hard working, as good as in the 5 stars hotel.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
1) It's a five years old ship, a little bit of rust here and there. 2) But overall still quite impressive.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
1) Nice and cozy room 2) Nice balcony view

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

3 out of 5
1) Another Americanized city

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
1) A very Americanized city 2) You can see English signal everywhere (along with Spanish) 3) Could be a city for both relaxing and shopping

Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, Mexico

5 out of 5
1) Nice little relax town 2) Felt similar to Maui

Acapulco, Mexico

1 out of 5
1) Ship berthed in the older part of the town. 2) Local tour went to the boring place 3) It's very much a waste of time Quite disappointed for such famous city

Pros: 1) No need to pack & unpack, 2) Go up (or down) stairs & your meals were ready

Cons: Port time are a little bit shorter than I want

Recommends Norwegian Star? Yes!
