Review summary

I have been with 3 cruise lines and 6 cruises. This is the only ship you have to pay to use the shower after workout in the gym. I am also very sad to find out that sauna is included in a spa package and you have to pay for the whole thing. The layout of ship also reflects businesses rather than continence. It's hard to navigate through the ship to get to where you want to be.

I am also very sad to find out that sauna is included in a spa package and you have to pay for the whole thing in order to use the sauna. The layout of ship also reflects business rather than convenience. It's hard to navigate through the ship to get to where you want to go.

Is it true that you have to pay for the sauna and shower after a gym session? We have cruised lots of times and never came across this?

We enjoyed the specialty restaurants on the Star. The steakhouse, Moderno, and Teppanyaki were very good, but the Italian restaurant wasn't very good. Also enjoyed the Noodle Bar by the Teppanyaki.

Lol. We were on the Star in April. We have cruised Carnival and Royal Caribbean and are cruising on the Carnival Vista next April. It was not easy to get from one side of the ship to the other. The layout was bad. We didn't use the spa, but even if we had, I would go back to the cabin to shower. No way I would pay to shower. If we ever cruise again on Norwegian, we will go on the much newer ships. If is the key word. Royal Caribbean Freedom Of The Seas was awesome as was Carnival Liberty. Can't wait until next April on the Carnival Vista.
