Make friends with a particular bartender to get consistent drinks. Select a time for dinner and make arrangements for a particular table and waiter to get consistent service. Don't expect 5 Star dinners at the specialty restaurants. The food is a little more upscale but nothing more than nice restaurant

It is a wonderfully serviced ship and meticulously clean. We enjoyed deck 8 which was so close to the many amenities (bars & restaurants) and central atrium (but not too close so as to be noisy).

We like to put a nightlight in the bathroom so we don't have to turn on the main light during the night. There is an outlet in the bathroom, for shavers, that is in the cieling. We didn't notice it for the first night. It's a two pronged outlet that works for small LED nightlights.

The Spice H2O pool on the stern is 18+ only and the better of the two pools. Dont miss out on outdoor breakfast in this area and the views, especially from the hot tubs

Do not let NCL schedule your flight. If you already have. Research before you go what port will get you connected to the ship if you get left. Don't expect the same level of service you get from other cruise lines when dealing with NCL reservations staff.

Utilize the many different outdoor decks to get the best views. Spirit has many vantage points across the ship.

Definitely book a cabin higher on the ship (the movement was much more pronounced on the lower decks). Also remember to bring a power strip since there's only one outlet in the room.
