Review summary
Loved this itenirary and ship! Spirit feels much bigger than she is thanks to well laid out venues with ample space and seating. The refit is GORGEOUS! Enjoyed the lack of round trip on this Alaska rout as we got to see more and cover more miles/ports.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Taste Restaurant (Main Dining Room)
Slow service, lesser views and smaller than the other MDR. Go to windows instead as they serve the same menu coming out of the same kitchen.
The Local Bar & Grill
Late night snacks, comfort food, a great breakfast and great burger. Quickly became a staple during our time onboard
Windows (Main Dining Room)
The better of the two main dining rooms on the ship with solid food and service. A rotating menu keeps it fresh but there are also “Classics” that remain every night
Teppanyaki
Don't miss it. Our “singing chef” was so entertaining and the food was incredible
Onda by Scarpetta
Loved it! Solid Italian and great service
Garden Cafe
Good, not great but lots of rotating options never left us wanting for variety
Bier Garten
I think it was just because of Alaska route and cold temps, but this was a bar only (no food) on our cruise.

Ship tip
The Spice H2O pool on the stern is 18+ only and the better of the two pools. Dont miss out on outdoor breakfast in this area and the views, especially from the hot tubs
