It weas great

The ship was very small and extremely rocky. We were only running on one engine. However, it was decorated very nice

The boat and restaurants looked nice. Smoking was allowed in the state rooms, by the pool, in the casino, in the entertainment rooms. I couldn't escape the smoke anywhere! It was very annoying. I used the ship's laundry service and did not have everything returned me. After calling to complain, I received the rest of the clothes later on that night. The socks had holes, rust stains and permanent stretch marks, none of which they had before being sent to the laundry. Two sports bras had multiple staple sized holes in them. The tags which were glued to the shirts ruined two of my shirts when they were pulled off. I took the Sea and See excursion in Nassau. The description promised that in a semi-submersable boat we would be taken past several sunken ships at least 70 years old. Instead, the tour guide pointed out two metal drums and said they were from a shipwreck 30 years ago. Hardly the several sunken ships we were promised. The boat only moved a total of 150-200 feet, during which time we didn't go into water deeper than about 15 feet, and saw mostly kelp and nothing else. And there was no a/c as promised. I took a Pilates class. There was no mention beforehand, not in the announcement, the freestyle daily newsletter, or by the instructor, that it would cost money. Only after the class did the instructor handed me a bill for $12. And if that were not enough, the class was supposed to last 45 minutes, but got started late and finished early, and only lasted for 20 minutes. After we got on the cruise we found out the destinations had changed, so we never got to go to a beach. We were very surprised to arrive back to the port of departure a day early! Luckily we had family that lived in the neighboring state whom we were able to stay the night with because our flight didn't leave until the next day.

The norweigen spirit was a lot of fun, but we had nothing to compare to because it was our first cruise. I liked the fitness center and the walking and jogging on the decks. The service was absolutely wonderful and the food was excellant. We didn't like the pool area, the pool was too small . The shows were okay, but there were a few that were spectular. The chocolate buffet was especially wonderful, I never knew there were that many different kinds of chocolate deserts and the molded figures were spectacular. Our walking tour of Somona was absolutely horrible, the guide was not suitable for that tour!! Would never go back there again. Our kayak tour was canceled in San Juan because of the weather and the tour of Totola was very nice. I don't think I would go on the Norweigen Spirit again , we will try a different cruise.

The ship was clean and the food was ok. Most of the staff were unfriendly. At checkout we found out that we had to pay a $10.00 per person per day gratuity ( 4 people times 8 days). They do not let you in the dining rooms with shorts after 5pm but their flier says you can dine the way you like. Only one adult pool that is very small and one tiny pool for children. Good luck trying to get a seat at the pool. Three days at sea and hardly any poolside entertainment.

Everyone on board was professional and helpful.

We went on six days carribean cruise to the Bahamas with the Nowegian Spirit recently and had a fanstastic time. Great! accommodations and Services. We are planning our next trip.

This is our second cruise on the same ship. The crew treated us like royalty. They were always very friendly, and kept the ship very clean.

The ship was so-so. The meals were not the best. The portions at dinner were small for my husband. The buffet was sometimes cold and some of the entrees were unusual. I did not like the smoking in the casino. We were on two other Norwegian cruises and this one was the least best. Also, we had a difficult time making reservations at the Italian restaurant.

It was great to have B.J.'s as "my travel agent." I felt secure working with them and they were on top of the latest info. Why would you want to pay more from a travel agent, interested in their commission, when the service at B.J.'s was equally superb.

over all impressions is great! love the friendly staffs and great food. the restaurant food even with a cover charge still is great.

We enjoyed our journey on this HUGE ship - by far the largest we've been on after 6 cruises. Food was good, service was good, entertainment only fair, beautiful surroundings andfriendly people

I have been on the ship twice once in July 07 and just got back April 08. I had a wonderful time. I just didnt like that they didnt go to there island. They dont cater to kids.

This was our third time in three years on the Spirit and it was the best ever. We are so at home on this ship. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially those with children.

The ship was horribly designed and was a struggle to find the different places that were scattered everywhere. The food stunk period. The cruise director who? He showed his face only at the few events they had. No pool-side entertainment this was my 8th cruise and was by far the worst and I expected better of NCL, on the other 3 NCL's everything was amazing but this cruise was horrible... It was expensive and not worth half of what we paid... I'm very disappointed we had a good time solely by what we made of it but the cruise was no good...

The Spirit is a large, relatively clean, ship. There were several specialty restaurants, but the cover charge was a bit steep for many of them. Reservations were difficult to secure unless you got in line an hour before the reservation desk opened. Even when you had a 5:30 reservation in one of the two main dining rooms, you were not taken right in. The portions of food were a bit skimpy this time around, although presentation and flavor were excellent. The pool deck was too small to accomodate all 2,000+ guests. There were never enough chairs to go around while we were at sea. The itinerary was changed with only two months to go, and we were disappointed in the substitute port (San Juan, Puerto Rico.)

FREE STYLE IS EXCELLENT.

The ship is a little older in the NCL fleet. The newer (bigger) ships are better with respect to the cabins and are having a wider variety of food. But this ship is still nice and can be recommended.

The Spirit is one of the oldest ships in the NCL fleet and is not as luxery as the newest ships. It still give value for the money we had to pay. The service and organisation is excelent (better than on the Jewel)

This was a wonderful cruise.My two sisters and I had a great time. All the cruise members were great in everyway. This was my 3rd cruise. This one by far was the best.
