Review summary

This was our third time in three years on the Spirit and it was the best ever. We are so at home on this ship. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially those with children.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in a few specialty restaurants and the food was good in all of them. Making reservatons was probably the worst part of the trip, and the cover charge you incur for eating there.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Excellent shows.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Teenagers love the teen program. It is freedom at its max.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Top ranked in this category. The staff cannot do any more for you.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Be prepared to walk ALOT. The ship, although a bit old, it beautiful and quite large.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Although small for four, it was neat and clean, except for the messes we made daily.

Ports of call

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

5 out of 5
Except for the scary ride to the beach, everything was wonderful.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

3 out of 5
Not much to see or do. We got there late, so we just toured the town.

Samana, Dominican Republic

5 out of 5
This was our favorite port. The beach was absolutely beautiful. This was the don't miss spot.

Pros: Nightly Shows

Cons: Insufficient Pool Lounges and Making Reservations for Dinner
