Ship: Norwegian Spirit

Cabin type: Inside

Review summary

The ship was horribly designed and was a struggle to find the different places that were scattered everywhere. The food stunk period. The cruise director who? He showed his face only at the few events they had. No pool-side entertainment this was my 8th cruise and was by far the worst and I expected better of NCL, on the other 3 NCL's everything was amazing but this cruise was horrible... It was expensive and not worth half of what we paid... I'm very disappointed we had a good time solely by what we made of it but the cruise was no good...

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

bad... Nothing that you would expect from a cruise especially NCL

Entertainment

1 out of 5
there wasnt anything to do... There was no variety and barely had entertainment, and what they did provide wasnt very good.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
they were not open when they should have been.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
the rooms were fine and comfortable, no announcemnt speaker was a plus...!

Ports of call

Samana, Dominican Republic

its is such a poverty stricken island that all the natives harp on you for sale in return money, it takes the fun out of it and as you walk you feel horrible for all the poor people and children whom wander the streets selling shells.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

5 out of 5
very nice beaches and such...

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
fine, it was nice.

Pros: the second city comedy acts

Cons: the food, layout of the boat, organization needed, not alot of activities, its was just a mess...

Recommends Norwegian Spirit? No.
