First off, this was my second cruise, though my first on NCL. I went with my girlfriend, we're in our mid-20's. NO kids. Overall I thought the ship was small (the smallest of NCL's fleet of 11), and places can get crammed quite quickly. However the staff does a quality job of keeping eating areas, public bathrooms, and staterooms impressively clean. "Freestyle Cruising" suited us well, especially with all the shows, music, and parties going on, it could prove challenging to fit in a meal (this is a good thing). Also, a warning. Prepare to feel like you're constantly watching a commercial. From jewelry to alcohol to the casino to cover-charging restaurants, NCL is trying to sell you everything. I went to a presentation on the new NCL Epic in the theatre, which turned out to be 5-7 minutes of a guy rifling through slides, and 15 minutes of advertising their Cruise Rewards, which is a down-payment on your next NCL cruise. We also went to the bar the first day to order 2 beers and the guy asked us three times to order 6 feers and we get 1 free. I get it buddy, but I don't want 6 beers. Lastly, people should be warned there was a 12$ per person per day charge that we learned about on the very last of the cruise. Add that to the automatic 15% gratuity and things can get expensive at the end so budget accordingly.

The ship was clean, however, the cabins need updating, they could use some updates to furnishings and amenities such as the hairdryers.

The cruise was a wonderful experience. I have cruised on other cruislines before. I did like the freestyle dinning. The entertainment was spectacular. I did not like that kids 18-20 could drink with permission of their parents. I found they abused the privilege. The staff was helpful and a pleasure to be around.

It is a delightful some what ellegant,cruise ship. Had most of the conveniences needed for a wonderful trip.

The cabin smelled of smoke for some reason and the cabin crew was slow to our requests to rectify the problem. It should of been cleaned properly before we were allowed to occupy it.

They charge $50 for a Norweigan thermo cup so that you can get free refills. The Inside cabins are very small. Some of their "fresh"towels and face cloths looked dingy and dirty. The staff is great, cabins clea

Getting on and off the ship was a breeze, compared to others I have been on. Couldn't asked for better staff

The Ship was not the most "Beautiful " we've seen, yet the staff and overall choices made up for the luxury we thought was missing.

My wife and my in-laws cruised the Spirit to Bermuda and enjoyed every minute. A friendly and competent staff, vast array of activity selections and services made our vacation most enjoyable.

This is our 2nd time on the Spirit and it was even better this time. The shows were different every night and were great! The performers are as good as any on broadway. Do not miss any of them. The staff are always "happy happy" and the meals are fantastic! Windows is the best dining room(in my opinion) and even the buffet is delicious. We tried an inside cabin this time and the only thing I couldn't get used to was not knowing if it was the middle of the night or 10 in the morning. Use the wake up call service if you don't want to sleep the morning away.... If you like to shop, bring a lot of extra money because they always want to sell you something. There are beautiful jewelry stores on board and there is always something special being offered for sale during the day. If you like to gamble there are the casino's and bingo and blackjack and slot tournaments too. Overall I would go on this cruise again and we have already put a deposit towards a future sailing. That was another offer too good to refuse.

Ship OK, needs a refresher, food adequate, goood selection but lacking in taste. Three days in Bermuda great, more ships should overnight in other places. One day and go is not fun. Ship shold stay in Bermuda later on last day. It retuns back to Boston at half the speed to sell more drinks at sea. Left Bermida at 5pm should have been at 10pm. Good shows and music.

Ship was nice, I am use to sailing with royal Caribbean so it was very different. The ship itself was clean, staff was friendly. We loved our room attendants they were always smiling and very pleasant. Entertainment was great. Service desk was a little disappointing. But overall I do recommend this ship!

This was our first experience with Norwegian, we liked it very much. We thought the "free style" would be a completly different way of cruising, but not so much. The freedom to choose the time and sitting for dinning was great. Definetely the Spirit isn't the newest ship of the world, but its conservation is overal OK. The service is really great and the entertainement team is just great, probably the best we have ever experienced in a cruise. The gastronomy is correct, some days it's remarkable.

Spirit is a wonderful ship with the best crew ever. They are very attentive to your every need. The food at all of the restaurants was fabulous. Entertainment was outstanding

The ship was top notch, a dream come true! Clean and staff was so professional and fun! The food was amazing! I loved the VERY quiet rooms, we could sleep in and we never heard a peep, the beds were very comfy and the room was perfect! Having a balcony stateroom was amazing, we slept listening to the waves every night! The shows were spectacular and the fun never ended! I really enjoyed myself and kept thinking I was on heaven on earth! I could not have had a better trip! The crew could not have done a better job- kudo's to them!

There were 10 of us celebrating my parents 50th anniversary. They went to Bermuda for their honeymoon so we all went back for the big 50. The ship was in great shape considering it has operated 365 days/year for 12 years. The entertainment was excellent and the food was over the top. Even better than the food was the staff, they stole the show. They were friendly and helpful all the time. The childrens pool area was impressive. The golf cages were usable. Had a blast in the arcade, motor bike racing against my 12 year old nephew (he kicked my butt every time). Over all it was a great trip even if Mother Nature did not cooperate.
